Could we get together after school in the computer lab and discuss how much of the book we would like to cover over time. If you would like to practice blogging we could do that also. Jack
Hey Knightechers! Glad to see you are up and running. Thanks to Jack for getting your blog started. I look forward to hearing and seeing what you are learning in your book. It sounds so high tech. Enjoy the book and blog experience. :) Carol
How about reading the first chapter by next Wed. (Oct. 1st). Could we come up with one or two remarks about what we've learned to include in our blogs so we have an overview ready by the middle of April? Let me know what you think. Jack
I wrote the same google password 12 times and finally the computer let me have a blog account...maybe...let's see if this works? If you're reading it...I succeeded at step one!
Tim Berners-Lee’s 1998 vision of “having a place where we can all meet and read and write about common interests,” is finally here. A. H. can begin to share its own vision by test driving new concepts in technology and blogging about them. Maybe we can create our own wikis’and podcasts, and let our students begin to move our visions forward. While we are not digital natives, many of the students coming into kindergarten and 1st grade are, and we need stay ahead of their needs. We have the technology, we have the interest, now we just need to step off the edge of the precipice and allow ourselves to fall into the future.
Hi Knightechers! I'm so excited for you and US all! There are so many things with technology that can be utilized to make learning more relevant to our students. I'm anxious to see/hear what you think. Thanks for leading the way!!! Carol

Hello fellow bloggers. Just checking to see if it works
Now that I know how to do this blogging thing, lets read the first chapter and then decide how much we can read at a time. What do you think Jack?
